How I work
FAQ — Frequently asked questions
I want the process to be clear from the start. Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can send a request through the contact form—and I’ll get back to you personally.
To tattoo you, I need to understand your idea: subject/motif, placement, and approximate size. That way I can advise you and give you a price estimate.
I work by appointment only. You’re welcome to stop by the studio to talk, see my work, and get a feel for the place.
If you can’t come in person, you can also arrange your appointment via messages—from other cities or countries.
Your appointment is confirmed with a deposit, which is deducted from the final price.
The deposit amount depends on the complexity of the tattoo—there’s a big difference between a small piece that takes 30 minutes and a larger design that takes several hours.
The deposit can be paid via Vipps or other payment methods. I’ll send you a payment link by SMS or email.
If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Repeated changes without a valid reason may require a new deposit.
If you don’t show up, cancel too late, or arrive in a condition that makes tattooing impossible (for example irritated skin or being under the influence of alcohol), the deposit is forfeited.
Design work is done as your appointment gets closer. Simple tattoos are usually shown the day before or the same day; more complex projects a few days in advance.
- Your skin needs to be in good condition. Avoid sun and tanning beds for at least 15 days before your appointment. Also avoid alcohol, very spicy food, and medications like aspirin or antihistamines in the last 24 hours
- If you’re sick or have a cold, it’s best to reschedule.
- Exfoliate and moisturize well the week before. Don’t apply moisturizer right before coming to the studio.
- On the day: shower, shave the area gently, and wear comfortable clothes (that can handle stains).
- Eat before you come—you can also bring water or something sweet.
- Please don’t use numbing creams—they can negatively affect the result.
- Important: don’t show up with sunburned skin.
Arrive relaxed and on time. If you’re delayed for reasons outside your control, I appreciate a quick message.
You can bring one person, but no one else is allowed in the working area—I need calm and focus.
You can listen to music or read during the session.
Pain is usually less than people expect. If this is your first tattoo, you’ll probably be pleasantly surprised.
If you have your period and we’re tattooing a larger area, your skin may be more sensitive—if needed, we can move the appointment.
My work combines technique, aesthetic judgement, and a strong passion for drawing.
I specialise in both colour and black & grey, including blackwork, dotwork, illustration, sketch, neotraditional, comic, and watercolor.
My tattoos are known for clean execution, precision, and close attention to detail. I put the same care into small, simple tattoos as I do into large, unique projects.
I’m honest and clear with my clients: if an idea doesn’t translate directly to skin, we’ll always find a solution together.
I also have solid experience in communication and visual psychology—trust my judgement to get the best possible result.
Price depends on the size, design, and complexity of the project. I mainly work with session-based pricing, not standardized prices. Design work is included and is part of the session. Larger projects are planned per session, with realistic estimates given in advance.
For a full overview of prices and sessions, see the pricing page.
Yes. If you let me know at least 48 hours in advance, we can move the appointment and your deposit will be transferred.
Yes—if you don’t show up, cancel too late, or if something prevents tattooing.
Adjustments are normal. If you choose not to go ahead, the deposit is not refunded. Sketches are not handed out.
Free touch-up within two months if needed.
Only done once the skin is fully healed.
Not valid in cases of poor aftercare, sun exposure, or difficult areas (hands, feet, elbows).
I don’t tattoo:
- Anyone under 16, or under 18 without parental consent
- Pregnant clients
- If you’re ill, on medication that affects healing, have skin issues, or sunburned skin
- If you’ve had alcohol / very spicy food in the last 24 hours
Areas that are technically/aesthetically challenging: palms, fingers, feet, knees, elbows.
Lifestyle-sensitive placements (hands, neck, face) are assessed individually.
For a first tattoo: avoid long sessions on very sensitive areas.
The goal is a great result—not unnecessary discomfort.
- No micropigmentation, laser, piercing, or repairing other artists’ work
- No copying without the original artist’s consent
- No offensive motifs
- Complex customer-made designs are usually not done unless the artistic quality is high enough
All tattoos are unique and made for you
